I installed Orbit but it failed to download a stream from icricTV.com so I cannot comment on its functionality. But let me tell you about this site: I had subscibed to this cricket site and need to log-in each time before watching live. After logging in, icricTV takes me to the page where I select the stream which then starts to download. The URL of this streaming page is http://www.icrictv.com/media/media1.phpI thought this info might help you to help me. I really would like to use Orbit so I hope you reply.Thanks

unable to download your software I was unable to download it because it said "the setup files are corrupted. please obtain thw new copy of the program."

Rapidshare downloading I was told that Orbit Downloader can download files from Rapidshare much faster than regular downloading because it downloads on several connections at the same time. I installed Orbit Dowloader and tried. No surprise at all. The downloading speed is as low as downloading with Internet Download Manager or Internet Explorer. RT

great for music downloading Perfect for music downloads. Not Vista ready Yet. slower than no downloader but great for scanning for viruses.

Unfortunately and for unknown reasons I\'m unable to convert my .flv files to other format...!! Only the voice is converted but no image is seen, while the .flv files show both picture and sound. I\'ve tried many converters but it seems that they all resume to the same problem. If you can help with this probleme I would surely appreciate. Thanks!

So far, this is the only FLV to AVI converter that has ever worked for me. I have tried at least a dozen of them and there has always been some problem. Whether it was loss of quality, non-compatibility, off-colored pixelation, or that it just plain crashed my computer, this is the only one that worked without trouble. I only have the demo version, but I figure I will purchase the full monty since it has worked so well and spits out an mpeg file with little to no loss of quality from the original flash file.

Software O.K. I thought that the program was pretty good, however, the trial thing was annoying. It's like you either pay right now, or you only convert ONE minute of a file which to me is not a very enticing offer, nor is it PRACTICAL. If the trial would allow me to convert the entire file at say, a 30 day free trial, I would use it to convert Flash Video, (FLV) files from YouTube and other video-sharing services into mpg and wmv formats for burning to dvd's like I do. I am a long time user of Irfanview. I recently received a disc which IF would not open the thumbnails, I deleted the old versions and installed the latest. It still will not open these AI eps. files. I'm going to send the disc to someone else to see if they can open, and make me a PDF to print out.Other than this one disc, I've always been very pleased with performance of Irfanview.

I have an older version of Irfanview and just wanted to update to the new release.

My first time using IRFAN VIEW: very quick download and very useful for my job to open print designs in high resolution, as well. Many tools available and easy. I'll try it soon with pictures and small movies, also.

Great program I have been using for years. Most convenient tool available for basic information, converting and resizing photos. fast!

Useful - but only if you pay. What I was looking for was a file converter to convert my movies. I downloaded a program that does just that - but instead of giving me my movies, it gives me the first half of my movies and ignores the second half. And taping an extra amount of blank video equal to my actual video is too tedious, so I do not recommend this program unless you plan to pay for the full version. It does, however, convert files very god, with no discernable quality loss.
